Terms of service

Last updated: 5 September 2026

What these terms cover

These are the terms on which Miral provides its service: an AI customer support agent that a company connects to its own knowledge and its own support channels, and the dashboard at app.meetmiral.com used to run it. They apply to the company that creates a workspace (you, the client) and to everyone you give a seat to. By creating a workspace, or by using one, you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you may do so.

Our privacy policy says what we collect and why. Our data processing agreement governs the personal data of your customers that passes through your agent, and forms part of these terms for every client.

Your workspace

A workspace is your company's account. The person who creates it is its owner, and the owner can add and remove seats, choose a plan, download the workspace's data and delete the workspace. Everyone with a seat sees the whole workspace: conversations, knowledge, settings. You are responsible for who you give a seat to and for what they do with it, and for keeping sign-in details private. Tell us straight away at support@meetmiral.com if you think an account has been used without permission.

You must be at least 18 and be using Miral for a business, not as a consumer.

The free trial

A new workspace starts on a free trial of 14 days. No card is needed. The trial has every feature, with a cap on the number of customer messages the agent answers each day. When the trial ends and no plan has been chosen, the agent stops answering on your customer channels and hands every message to your team instead; your dashboard, your knowledge and your conversations stay exactly where they are, and choosing a plan switches the agent back on within a minute.

A workspace left on an ended trial with no activity for 90 days may be deleted. We will email the owner before we do.

Plans and payment

Paid plans are sold as subscriptions through Stripe. The plan, its price and what it includes are shown before you pay, and each plan sets how many customer messages a day your agent will answer; buying more than one of a plan multiplies that allowance. Prices exclude VAT and other taxes, which are added where they apply. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.

You can change plan, update your card, download invoices and cancel at any time from the billing portal in Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; you keep what you paid for until then. If a payment fails we keep the agent running while Stripe retries the card; if it cannot be collected, the workspace returns to trial limits until payment is set up again.

We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. A price change applies from your next renewal after that notice.

Our 30-day guarantee

If Miral is not earning its keep, tell us within 30 days of your first payment and we refund it in full. No conditions and no exit interview: one email to support@meetmiral.com. The guarantee covers the first payment on a workspace's first paid plan, once per client.

Your content and your customers' data

The knowledge you connect, the instructions you write and the conversations your agent has belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them for the one purpose of providing the service to you. We do not use your content or your conversations to train AI models, we do not sell them, and one client's content is never used to answer another client's customers.

You are responsible for having the right to connect the content and channels you connect, for telling your customers that they are talking to an AI agent where the law requires it, and for the notices and consents your customers are owed. Where your customers' personal data is involved, you are the controller and we are your processor, on the terms of the data processing agreement.

What the agent does and does not do

The agent answers from your knowledge and within the boundaries you set: its tone, what it may never say, when it hands over to a person, what hours it keeps. Its replies are generated by AI models and can be wrong, incomplete or worded in a way you would not have chosen. You decide what knowledge it has, you review what it says, and you can pause it at any moment from Settings. The agent's replies are not legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.

Where you connect a system such as Shopify, the agent can look things up and, only if you switch it on and set a limit, take actions such as issuing a refund. Every such action is checked in code against the limits you set and recorded in the conversation. You are responsible for the limits you choose.

You agree not to use Miral to break the law, to send unsolicited messages, to harass or deceive people, to handle content you have no right to, or to probe, overload or work around the service, its caps or its security. We may suspend a workspace that does, and will tell you why.

Third-party services

Channels and systems you connect, such as Slack, Shopify, Google or Meta, are provided by those companies under their own terms, and connecting them is your agreement with them. If one of them changes or withdraws access, the corresponding part of Miral may stop working and that is not a breach of these terms by us.

Availability and support

We aim to keep Miral available around the clock and to fix problems quickly, but we do not promise uninterrupted service, and we may take it down briefly for maintenance. Support is by email at support@meetmiral.com and through meetmiral.com/support. A written service level agreement is available for clients we set up by hand, on request.

Ending things

You can stop at any time: cancel the plan from the billing portal, download a copy of your data from Settings, and delete the workspace from Settings. Deleting the workspace cancels any subscription, removes your conversations, documents, seats, sessions and connected credentials, and cannot be undone. Whatever remains in backups is removed within 30 days.

We can end these terms with 30 days' notice, or at once if you break them in a way that harms others or the service, or if we are required to by law. If we end them for our own reasons we refund any prepaid period you have not used.

Ownership

Miral, its software, its design and its name are ours and stay ours. You get a right to use the service for your business while these terms are in force, and nothing more. If you send us suggestions, we may use them without owing you anything.

Liability

Miral is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises beyond those written here, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, or loss of business or data caused by the service or by anything the agent said or did within the boundaries you set. Our total liability to you under these terms in any twelve months is limited to the fees you paid us in those twelve months. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

You will cover us against claims from third parties that arise from content you connected, from instructions you gave the agent, or from your use of the service in breach of these terms.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change, the date at the top changes with it. For a change that affects you materially we will email the workspace owner at least 30 days before it takes effect, and continuing to use Miral after that date is agreement to it. If you do not agree, cancel before the date and the old terms apply until then.

The legal bits

These terms are the whole agreement between you and Miral about the service, and replace anything said before. If a part of them turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. They are governed by the laws of the country in which Miral is established, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, except that either side may seek an injunction anywhere to protect its rights. Questions about these terms: support@meetmiral.com.
